Artists of the Rust Belt proudly presented FolkFest 2009! In cooperation with the Rust Belt Brewing Co. and the B&O Station, we hosted a fabulous Sunday of high caliber folk, roots, and Americana music by some of the Rust Belt region's finest musicians, check out the line-up below. Forty-five artists from the region displayed and sold their work. Rust Belt Brewing Co. served up its finest brews; their new and improved Rusty River Irish Red, their black as night Coke Oven Stout, and their Blast Furnace Blonde Ale. Terrific local food vendors served up their finest Mahoning Valley festival standards such as elephant ears, french fries with vinegar, steak hoagies, and fresh lemon shakes!
We missed having Chris Castle in attendance because his radiator gave out on his way to the gig but we are sure to have him back again soon.
